Q. How is a price determined when I am given a FREE ESTIMATE?

The size of the home (i.e. ranch, 2-story, or tri-level) slopes or estimate.

Q How long will it take the paint to dry?

Latex paint with the temperature above 60 degrees will dry in or cooler day will delay the drying time.

Q. What causes fading of the paint in my home?

The sun is usually the worst culprit. Window coverings help to keep paint and furniture from fading.

Q. How do I choose paint colors for my house?

Ask us, we are happy to help.

Q. How long will it take to paint my home?

The average home will take JT Paints 1-3 days depending on the size of the home and how many rooms painted.

Q. How do I choose a paint contractor?

Look for experience, references and ultimately whether you feel comfortable inviting them into your home.

Q. What time should I expect you to start work?

Spring, Summer & Fall hours start from 7:00 - 8:00 a.m. and end between 4:30- 7:00 p.m. weather permitting. Evening and weekend hours are also available depending on availability.

Q. Should a paint contractor stay on the job until it is completed?

JT Paints will stay and finish your project. We prefer to finish one job before starting another.

Q. Do I get any of the extra paint left over when the job is done?

Yes. All leftover paint left is yours.

Q. How much do you require for the deposit?

The deposit required to give the customer a starting date is for the cost of materials or the equivalent if you will be providing your own. Usually about 10%-15%. Final payment is due upon completion of the project.

Q. What about cleanup??

We will remove all trash and, if necessary, equipment from your home each day. We always strive to practice good housekeeping habits and clean up after ourselves.
